Tips for Visiting Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa

Here are some tips that will help you make the most of your visit to Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa:

  1. Book in Advance Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa is a popular destination, especially during the high season (December to April). To avoid disappointment, it's recommended to book your room and hot springs experience in advance.

  2. Choose the Right Time to Visit The best time to visit Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa is during the dry season, which runs from December to April. During this time, the weather is dry and sunny, making it ideal for outdoor activities. However, if you prefer fewer crowds, it's recommended to visit during the low season (May to November). I personally went in the first week December and loved the mystical fog that it created!

  3. Bring Swimwear and Towels Swimwear and towels are a must when visiting Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa. The hotel provides towels, but it's recommended to bring your own as well.

  4. Wear Sunscreen and a Hat The sun can be intense in Costa Rica, even on cloudy days. To protect yourself from the sun's harmful rays, wear sunscreen and a hat.

  5. Consider a Private Hot Springs Experience While the public hot springs at Tabacon are great, they can get crowded during peak hours. Consider booking a private hot springs experience for a more intimate and relaxing experience

  6. Take Advantage of the Hotel's Amenities Tabacon Thermal Resort & Spa has several amenities that you can take advantage of during your stay. These include the spa, restaurants, bars, and the hotel's tours and activities.

  7. Avoid crowds If you are a morning bird, then use it to your advantage! Waking up right when the hot springs are open is ideal to take some awesome memorable photos without the extra photo editing work. Check out the photo below! I did NOTHING to edit this:
